At the moment my soul leaves this body, I wish for my ashes to be gently scattered at the source of the river [name of the river], so that they may blend with the fresh and pure waters, and flow as part of an eternal stream. May my ashes travel and live, like the water itself, to cross all the wonders this world has to offer to the living, carrying with them the beauty, serenity, and light that I sought to capture in my life.
I want these waters to meander, passing through forests, lands, and valleys, and along the way, to be nourished by the life they encounter, until they gently reach the estuary. There, cradled by the tide and caressed by the wind, my ashes will rest, like a child in the arms of its mother, finally at peace, on their last journey.
And through this simple and natural act, may I continue to be part of what is beautiful and alive, forever.
